The kind of work you'd be doing:
Face exciting, out of the box challenges on a daily basis
Working on all levels of the code base while applying your creativity and pragmatism
Creating web applications using primarily Ruby on Rails
Working closely with our product and design teams to define feature specifications
Working closely with operations and infrastructure to build and scale back-end services
Building something that dramatically improves patient care in Canada
Mentoring junior staff in an innovative and fast-paced environment
Minimum of 2+ years’ experience with Ruby on Rails
Minimum of 5+ years' experience with Software Development
Experience working with AngularJS and/or ReactJS
2+ years’ relational DB experience – MySQL and/or PostgreSQL preferred
API design and strong documentation skills
HTML 5/CSS 3 and responsive design knowledge would be considered a plus
Experience with Git/Github as a version control tool
Experience with the TDD process
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Working knowledge of Rocket Science
University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering
